Today is the first day of class. I am not excited. I only have Comparative Black Lit today at 1 so maybe that is why I'm not that thrilled. I also am coming to accept the fact that I may not be able to go home for Labor Day like I want to. I do have a few odds snd ends that I need to take care of in NY.

I'm in DC. I've got a bed and a dresser...and my roommates are very cool THANK GOD. They are both from California. So far there has only thing that has gone wrong...and it is pretty big. I don't feel like getting into it. I just need to prepare for school tomorrow. I only have one class on Mondays and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I have pretty long days. I am not really excited as much as I am ready. I'm ready for the end.
While reading Selina's Saturday post noticed that I have been noticing peoples breasts lately. Not checking them out like " Damn I'm feeling her " but just noticing whose got what. As of late have this weird obession with Raven Symone. I think that she is the most aodrable teen. I think part of the reason I' like her so much is that she has big boobs. When I was around that age I felt like such a freak cause all other teenage girls had these cute lil perky things and I was already in large Cs. I just think it's cool that she is on tv and she doesn't hide her chest, dresses fashionably but at the same time age appropriate. I think that now I appreciate them more but back then I hated them. I'm just glad that media has a better representation of real body images.
I gotta go get my nails done.

So this the dreaded moving day.
Of course I'm not finshed packing and I'll be up all night.
I've already been to DC and back once this week so I am super exhausted.
Yes I have a room but it has no furniture... but God is, so I'm sure I'll find some soon.
Once I get back to school I'll be able to update more frequently, and plus there will be more drama to discuss.
I still haven't gone to bed so it is still Friday... and that means The Friday V

I just have have a few questions on my mind

1. Why is it that when women of African decent wear their hair natural some one always has a negative comment but if that same woman wears synthetic hair there is still negativity?

2. How come some people can be millionaire and not even finish high school and other have degrees and they barely make ends meet?

3. Why is skin color still such a big issue?

4. Why are skinny girls always complaining about their weight?

5. Why do men think it is okay to grab women's breasts and asses (or attempt to) especially ones they don't know?

6. Why do we women spend so much on our nails? Does anyone, except maybe other women, notice?

7. Who knew sex stores had sales and clearance? Does that mean the products were previously used?

8. What exactly is the purpose of a yawn?

9. I don't get the new Beyonce Pepsi commercial... Some one please explain

10. WHY AM I STILL UP? Cause I never did understand 'bedtime'. My body is telling me it is time to hit the sack though. So laters....
